Trekking to the Heaven.....

Image
Adam's Peak has always been at the top of my bucket list of places to visit at least once in my lifetime. Recently, I finally got the chance to witness with my own eyes the magical experience and beauty that everyone talks about. It was truly a breathtaking journey💪.                                                                                                                                        We chose the Nallathanniya route our climb. Our journey began around 11:00 P.M. Since it was my first time, I was called a ''Kodukaraya'' ( a first time pilgrim ). We all started climbing the stairs while chanting ''Thun Sarane '' verses 🙏💗.   ...

The full moon of my world....

In the journey of life, the most loving and strongest pillar we ever encounter is a mother. For me, that source of strength and unconditional love is my mother, Y.G.Sujeewa Malkanthi Priyadarshani. Today, I am writing this post as a tribute to the most precious treasure in my life.                                                            My mother is currently 49 years old. Throughout these years, the amount of sacrifice she has made for our family is beyond words. Just like her names ''Malkanthi'' suggest, I see beauty and grace in her character every day. She is calm, affectionate, and a remarkably strong woman who stands firm in the face of any challenge.                                                   ...

My little devil.....

Image
Oh! You must be wondering who I'm calling this little devil👻, this is my darling who, no matter how many devilish deeds he does, only feels love in return👼. My twentieth birthday present💋💥. That day is added to the unforgettable days of my life because of this little devil who is now two years old. In short, it takes her a second to turn the entire house upside down. If you hear a sound anywhere in the house, my little devil is always there. Even though it's been two years, to me she's still the same little baby I held on the first day. When she looks at me with her red tongue sticking out, her sweet eyes, her ears raised, and her face tilted to the side, my heart fills with love💝. From the first day I saw her evil deeds, I just kept saying, "She's a devil. But when she sleeps curled up at my feet, my love for her grows even greater. My little devil's name is Windy. I named her that because she's like a light breeze. Even if I have a lot of probl...

My biggest dream since I was little.....

Children have dreams from a young age. I too had many small dreams from a young age. Among them, there was one dream that I cherished the most. I thought I would share with you a little bit about the journey I took to make that dream come true💓.                                                                                              First of all, I would like to tell you about my childhood. I have been very interested in art since I was a child. Since I was in preschool, I have loved and been very good at dancing and acting. Whe...

My first workshop experience.....

Image
The first time I went to a workshop in my life was for a program held to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the death of Dr. Jayalath Manorathne. Speaking of that experience, 60 people who were selected for that program had the opportunity to participate. I would like to share with you the experiences I had throughout that journey👊🙂.                                            We were given the dates for the workshop to be held on January 12 th and 13 th . My hometown is Galewela. But the program was at BMICH in Colombo. It was a very difficult journey for me. I and five other friends set out on this journey after much deliberation. We were told to be there by 7 am on the 12 th , so we set out the day before. Colombo is not a place we are very familiar with. We left G...
