My first workshop experience.....
The first time I went to a workshop in my life was for a program held to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the death of Dr. Jayalath Manorathne. Speaking of that experience, 60 people who were selected for that program had the opportunity to participate. I would like to share with you the experiences I had throughout that journey👊🙂.
We
were given the dates for the workshop to be held on January 12th and
13th. My hometown is Galewela. But the program was at BMICH in
Colombo. It was a very difficult journey for me. I and five other friends set
out on this journey after much deliberation. We were told to be there by 7 am
on the 12th, so we set out the day before. Colombo is not a place we
are very familiar with. We left Galewela at 11.00 am and it was around 4.00 pm
when we reached Colombo. We had already found a place to stay so we didn’t have
to work hard to find it.
The next
morning, we got ready and left for BMICH, but just like the previous day, we
got off at the wrong place again. Somehow we found our way and arrived at the
program on time. After a lot of hassle, I was finally able to attend my first
workshop. It was a program filled with many beautiful experiences, even more
than I expected.
Because
of the experiences I had on this journey, my first workshop alone left a
lasting impression on me💝👏.

I made a lot of memories and had a wonderful experience🤍
